Last month they had either a 5 week or 10 week course.
Now its either something like 4 weeks(whih we are doing)or 8 weeks, which is good as the price has come down too.

You should check your local college. The college in Runshaw (south Preston) runs these course. I am sure one near you will do as well.

How did your course go? I done a silver-smith course for 3 terms and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately hubby had to work down south for 3 months and I didn't have anyone to look after the kids while I was at the course.

I still dabble in bits of silver that I have left over but don't have the tools that I got to use at the college.

I was going to book in for weekend one at Christmas but it got booked up really quickly and when I remembered about it, it was too late.

Hope you enjoyed it!

I really want to do a lampwork course, must have a look around and see if there is one in the area.

I think Mr Media is starting up another site so Ive said Id give an article on the course. You can read about it there. It wont quite be Jilly Cooper but hopefully Il make it sound interesting.

Yep, heard that you can just pay to use the facilities hich sounds like a good idea.

Have you tried www.creativeglassguild.co.uk they sell all the bits and have a glass/solderig etc forum.
