stuffing?

i am planning on making my little girl some haahoos for xmas out of felt, i was wondering what would be the best stuffing for a soft toy? i dont want it to be all lumpy after a few days, but cheap is obviously good lol,

This isn't my forte but I think you use those tiny polystyrene beads - "beanbag filling".

Kapok (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kapok) is the white fluffy filling used in soft toys,but you could use the stuffing from a cushion pad. I can buy a 15" cushion pad from our local 'bargain' shops for £1. That would fill quite a few toys! :)
