I hope this is the correct place to ask this question ;)
I plan to buy some jute bags, and I want to paint/write something on them. Can I just use normal fabric paint, will it stay on?
Thanks!

sounds interesting will you let us know how you get on. I would be interested to see where you buy them and how much they are.

Hi
I haven't done any printing on fabric as yet but I would have thought that fabric paints & pens would be fine - after all that's what they're designed for!
I'm thinking of using up some of my leftover curtain fabrics to make bags & the plain stuff is crying out for some sort of design - so I may give the pens a go myself.
I found a site selling jute tote bags for around £10 per 10 - is this a reasonable price do you think? Didn't think to check their minimum order value though!
Cheers

That sounds good value to me. I got some that were £1.20 each but the minimum order is for 50 & they let me have 5 as a 'sample' for £10 incl postage for the first order. They are lovely but I dont really want to commit to buying 50 so am trying to find another supplier.
