The best type is an epoxy resin 2 part glue like "araldite". You usually have a double syringe and mix the glue together just before aplication.
Superglue will not work for this type of task as it has no flexibility.
Araldite and other epoxy resins are available from B&Q etc.

I used araldite, tested it this morning and nothing pinged off.
It seems to splurge out everywhere, tho Id imagine thats my bad handling of the glue rather than the glue itself.Il have to practice more.

I agree with the 2 part epoxy resin. If you squish a bit of both parts onto an old piece of card and mix them together with a matchstick you can also apply it with the matchsitck.

Matchstick would have been wiser, I used a piece of folded paper, not to sure about my logic on that one.
