Hiya Rose

you have some lovely jewellery and wow what an accolade to have been featured in French Elle magazine !!

small leather jewellery busts are ideal for showing off bracelets

the rings could be displayed on the acrylic hands

and the ear studs hmmmm apart from putting them on card on a board or on earring cards on a stand I don't know

If i think of any better (i.e funkier ) ideas I'll pop back :D

You can also get some acrylic earrings stands, with lots of little holes. One of my friends uses them, but dunno where she bought it from.

Hi I'm looking at busts at the moment - I'm a little stuck on whether i should get suede, velvet, in skin tone, white or black? Most of my jewellery is silver/crystal and glass. I do adults and also a selection for children. Also not sure on sizes for busts either?
Thank Tanja

The only trouble with suede and velvet is they are hair and fluff magnets......even if you don't own a dog or cat you can guarantee they end up with it on !!
I have black velvet and white leather but choice of colour really depends on the colour theme you are going for on your display. As to size it really depends on what you want to display on them, I find the smaller busts are ideal for bracelets but no big enough or eyecatching enough for necklaces, plus the larger busts can be very expensive..i was lucky enough to buy mine from a woman who was packing in doing craft fairs.
Maybe you could display childrens ones on wooden building blocks?,make one end of your table child friendly nothing they can break while they choose.
Etsy is a great place to look for display ideas that can be quite inexpensive, plus its a great excuse to pass a few hours on there , you can say your doing market research, lol

Hi Beckyboo - I ended up buying one 9x6 bust in black velvet to put my main freshwater pearl necklace and got two copper rotateable earring displays plus two black tiny metal earring stands as i want to make the really special earrings stand out. The rest will have to lie on black velvet for the time being!!! Will see how that works before anymore buying!!:D

if you set a table up before you go to a craft fair take a pic, would love to see how they look. I have seen the copper carousel stands but I can't get mine on them as I pre card them onto the plastic hanging cards.......I'm sure it will look fab , good luck

I just got back from visiting an evening craft fair ( as a visitor not a seller ) with a few ideas for displaying jewellery.
Carded earrings laid out in a very big flat raffia dish, with pendants in individual boxes. All handmade lampwork and looked good.
A4 size clear acrylic trays lined with a sheet of paper with the pendants pinned on, matching earrings on cards propped up along the back. Just realised that this is Silverdaze standard display.
A3 size - with corners cut off - slightly padded fabric pieces in black and cream with pendants pinned on. Both of these looked good and would be easy very to pack up.
Big cork boards with beaded necklaces pinned on - they looked ok but a bit cheap. Others had similar but covered with padded velvet and they looked much better.
Another lady last week had two sets of battery xmas lights laid under organza with the jewellery on little square velvet pads. It looked quite classy and very xmassy.

I've got a couple of stands that hold upto 128 pairs earrings each and they cost £8 (free P&P) from Kleeneze. They are made of clear plastic and have 4 sides to them and they fold up like a concertina even when they are fully loaded. They're about 10" tall. Haven't got a pic but here's a link to the site where you can buy them. The company has door callers that leave catalogues and collect them a few days later so you could get one off them.

The link is a bit slow to load - click on Beauty and then turn to page 20. The pic is in top left corner.

A friend of mine who makes jewellery has a white tree - it has lots of branches and she hangs a braclet or necklace off each of the branches. It looks really impressive on her stand and also adds height and interest to her stall. She bought it from Ikea.
