Just getting over flu and now I've gone and got shingles :(

Its not fair..

Had them last year due to stress and 100% stress and lack of sleep this time :(

Anyone know the best way to sort shingles out ?

Last year I had to chill for a few days..

Amytriptiline tablets. Ask your GP - it's the only sure fire way. Lavender oil will relieve the symptoms and take away some of the pain. Good luck. 8)

It's a sedative anti depressant, but it's used to calm the nerve line along which the shingles effect travels. Shingles is a variety of Chickenpox and is usually along the lumbar sacral nerve line, but the associated pain can last for a lot longer than the symptoms - it 'aint a funny thing to have!

Mike I like you - you say exactly the right things :D

And Media...maybe asking for birthdays to be included on our profiles was a mistake after all lol
