Hi everyone !

I haven't been on here for ages due to working full time as a Teaching Assistant as well as making jewellery . I have volunteered ( silly me !!) to make bead strings for our school for the children to use during maths lessons. I have been trawling through the internet but with no luck.

I need either coloured wooden or plastic beads, 16mm, either round or oval with fairly large hole for threading a thin lace through. Each string has 10 beads of the same colour. I have seen some already made up but they are sooo expensive and I am trying to save the school some money by making these.

Has anyone got any ideas ? I will make 100 strings of 10 and about 50 strings of 20. So I need around 2000 beads in total.

many thanks

This is from china, will take 5-6 weeks to get here, and probably owned by the person posting.
