Hi

Does anyone know where I can find those cases that you can see at craft fairs, mostly used by jewellery makers to hang earrings/necklaces. It's like a case which opens up and usually stands at one end of the table.

My guess is that they are about 3 feet tall once stood up. I suppose it looks like a box for cutlery, that's how close a description I can give... Velvety fabric inside on both side.

Not sure if that's clear :?

I've found and bought a lot of my jewellery display stands on Ebay.

If you can't find exactly what you're looking for, I suggest asking the seller. I did this once to get matching stands that weren't listed.

Hope that was helpful!!

The fairs I've been to, quite often they use converted paste tables! They remove the legs then fill the insides (the underneath sections) with foam and then cover in velvet fabric! Once opened out you honestly wouldnt realise! Obviously you'd need to buy a new one from the store!!!

Are you doing any fairs this year? Dont forget to let me know of any local ones..... :)

Well, Liz I certainly didn't think of that!!
I do have a kind of pasting table although it's sort of lacquered on top. Saying that, Asda is selling the very basic pasting table for less than £10!

Do you know about the craft fairs in Ashton (Preston). The organiser did two last year and she organises 4 this year. Let me know if you're interested and I'll pass on the details. 4th March, 3rd June, 9th September, 18th November. St Andrew's Church Hall, Tulketh Rd, Ashton, Preston.
I am not participating.

I do home shows and jewellery parties and have to take all my jewellery out two or three times a week. I have made some lightweight folding screens for display. Yhey are very versatile and also cheap!!!
I get a couple of cork notice board and hinge them together. Cover with crush velvet cloth to match your corporate colours. Them use dress makers pins to display your jewellery.
They are really light and easy to transport and also you are not tied to having permanant hooks that might not suit the type of jewellery you are displaying.
You can see some of them by clicking:

They usually cost me under £5.00 in total.
