I buy old leather items, mainly jackets from car boot sales etc, and recycle them, usually as leather bookmarks, but I have also made key ring holders, and have dabbled with a couple of purses

I made a leather purse once. Bought the leather from Spotlight craft shop. I think they have stop selling leather since. I think you get better quality from recycled jacket.
