Cool! Well done...

That looks like pine - did you have any problems with the resin spitting & smoking, or with the grain making it go "stripy"... I always do!

I have to say I am really enjoying pyrography!!

I have just finished making this for my Nephew who is 2 on Monday.

Hi Very nice pics and work. I also love pyrography. Like yourself, I find pine can be a bit tricky to work with. My favourite wood for pyrography is sycamore. It takes pyrography really well.

I like the shape youve worked on, very unique and the linework is great.
