I would suggest going to the local college or trade school that has a culinary arts program. See if anyone there can do a cake for you.
Try some of the smaller bakeries. There might be an apprentice who would love to gain some experience. Offer to buy the ingredients, as well as let them use your kitchen. This should cut down on the cost.
