How do you folk label your 'crafty', textile makes. I'm looking for a reasonable way to label bags and scarves and some smaller items like pincushions. I think I'll need different solutions. Woven labels seem expensive, but I wondered if there was anywhere that I'd missed that made labels. I suppose the other possibility is to print my own but on what and using what type of programme?
Can you sense the confusion?

You can buy A4 sheets of white cotton that you can use in any printer, the programme I use is Print Shop (it has lots of label deigns + you can design your own) but I'm sure there must be other programmes that you can use. The cotton sheets can either be self adhesive, or, non-adhesive have a look at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/100-Cotton-voile-Inkjet-printable-fabric-sheet-A4_W0QQitemZ110277681567QQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p32 86.m20.l1116 eBay has a wide selection, just put ~ A4 cotton ~ in the search box.

I use a scrap of matching fabric, pinked around the edges, with an inkjet printed paper label stuck on. I attach to the item using a loop of silky crochet thread or fancy yarn, either punch a hole in the 'label' or use a large needle to pass the thread through. :)

Fantastic ideas... Thank you. I'm going to exercise the ordering capacity of my computer and get to it....

Not sure if this is the kind of thing you are after but I use JJ Cash. They are quite cheap and they look good. Not quite as nice as designing your own which you can get with the print outs but they do look quite professional.
