Long story short-
5 weeks ago,bid/won on ebay items
cheque sent
didnt recieve anything and didnt hear from them
emailed many times, finally to be told cheque hadnt been recieved
Over 2 weeks ago sent another cheque
still nothing so I emailed a number of times with no answer,
sent messages through ebay that items hadnt been rcieved, the messages will go to seller thinking this will nudge them into contacting me
2 days later still nothing
emailed yesterday,nothing
recieved bank statement today and cheque is not listed so I assume it hasnt been recieved.

Id like to here it from them!!
Why am I doing all the chasing!!
They have 100% positive feedback but they wont have when this is over.

I am to once again email them, and I may be a tad rude.

thats so frustrating! I buy a lot of craft things of ebay, but haven't had too many problems. What i really hate is when someone outbids you in the final 10 seconds...uuuughhh!

That is annoying!! I lost out on a goooorgoeus piece of chinesey material embroidered with a peacock all over it.

My highest bid was £20.00 but they winning bid was £20.01!!!!!!!!!!!!gutted.

I know bid adding an extra 10p just incase.

These people Im buying from have 100% positive feedback!
Ive thought about being nice but I think fooey now, item sure the items will be fab but the rest is naffo and im gona say so.

Are they in the UK? I know from dealing with a few ebay sellers outside the UK although selling in £, they never reply...

If they havn't recieved your cheque they should really contact you, send another email through ebay as they could report you as not paying which looks bad on your profile. Ask them nicely to confirm their address with you as some people do not put their full/proper addresses on their ebay info.

I once had several buyers who I thought had not paid until I realised my 21 month old son was feeding the post under the kitchen cupboards.

Just received a 'dispute' email through ebay from the company that im buying from.
They have sent the items out 'despite not recieving payment. Please could you now send payment!'.

I dont think the ! was called for as its not like I havnt sent payment and it wasnt them that had to do all the chasing.

Il be sending payment by recorded delivery.

Gosh! This is becoming a real soap opera!!

So if they sent the item, does this mean they have cashed one of your cheques, why on earth would they send the item otherwise??.... :?

Im thinking they want me to leave nice/positive feedback.

Funny how they only sent them once id got ebay involved.

I cant ignore the fact that I did all the chasing and the whole process has been going on for 6 weeks! So my feedback aint gona be positive baby!!

My dad collected the package from the PO and it was the items I bought.
They are fabulous, so much detail.

Ive just realised i bought about 8 items from this company so Im gona have to give 8 bad responses.eek.

I think Bea got it spot on when she compared this ebay saga to a soap opera - I'm hooked, with a need to tune it tomorrow to see what happens next....please let us know!

PS. think you chickened out a bit with the feedback but know I'd have done exactly the same thing :D

I know Im such a chicken with the feedback but the items are so good id like to buy from them again.Though there is no reason why i cant buy from them even if there is an 'atmosphere'.

They havnt left any feedback for me, shows how slow they can be!
They havnt even told me if they received the 3rd cheque I sent!!

what did you buy - are you sure you cant get them elsewhere from someone a tad more reliable??

Charms, hmm, there are a couple of other suppliers but they arnt as detailed, prices are quite similar.

Its amazing how tough i is to find the exact things Im after for projects.Im after a nice chain to add jump rings to yet the jump rings I want to use wont fit through the link in the chain I want to use!!Soo many hurdles!!

ANybody else have trouble finding exactly what they are after?

I dont like dealing with abroad so try to avoid it.

A friend of mine has bought abroad and had no problem but I can see how some overseas people would not reply is their English is not so good.

Hope you get this sorted. This is really bad practice.
Don't forget to cancel your other cheques just in case they are holding on to them.

From USA, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Germany & France.
No problems yet!...touch wood!

I'm waiting on fabric from USA & Malaysia & Canada right now, but it's only been a few days.

I love getting stuff through the post. DHL just delivered 50 wooden skirt/clip hangers (for hanging my aprons & bags up) I paid a grand total of £11.94 for those, including courier delivery from eBay. Bargain!

I know the OP was 2 yrs old, but the moral is always pay by PP. Paying by cheque through eBay gives you no comeback, no safety net whatsoever. Check out the eBay community boards for more advice, they are really helpful if you ignore the trolls.
