Decided to use pale blue silver white and pearl this year.....
What colours will you use for Chrismas 2008?
Traditional or modern or just something you love and have always used?

I'm a sucker for deep reds such as mulberry along with gold usually but I was thinking to have a change this year and go white/silver. Just don't know if I can change the habits of a life time.:o

I'm not sure myself what colours I'm going for.

We have moved house and my colour scheme at the moment is hocolate brow/terricota/green - but looking for new sofa and chairs and not sure what colour yet!

I love to stick to just a couple of colours but Wyatt loves a mixture of different ones.....I love plain lights and he likes coloured ones......lol!

So many beautiful colours to choose from its hard to decide!

I'm afraid I'm a traditional red and gold person too! I did buy a load of beautiful plum and aubergine shaded things a few years back, to go with the gold - but the colours don't 'glow' like red does, so now it is red, gold and plum :D

I used to be a red white and green fan, but have moved old stuff onto a big white tree for the kids to decorate. Now i love anything opulent!
Burgundy and gold i think this year and lots of crystal for extra sparkle.

Loving your latest design - they would look lovely in a mobile/window curtain type dressing thing (like the fairy light ones they do in ikea etc)

If you're talking household decorations then I'm definitely a traditional girl. My living room is green so I go for greens and golds with the odd splash of red.

If you're talking crafty stuff then it still has to be traditional :D

From past experience I've found that most people looking for jewellery to go with their christmas outfit want black and sparkles, deep or bright reds, dark blues, dark greens and purples.

I'm a very traditional girl so it is always a combination of gold, whites, deep greens and a splash of deep red with cinnamon bundles, holly berries and natural stuff thrown in for fragrance!. Well, I do live in the countryside!!!!!!.:D

I usually use a combination of deep reds, dark green, gold, silver or white when putting together my Christmas stalls though... anything to enhance the warm colours of the wood.

I've been making Swarovski Black and Clear crystal, but the trend this year also seems to be large pearls so I've been making some necklaces using these.

I'll also introduce some reds.

Can't wait for all the Christmas fairs!!:D

I'm not too sure what colors I'll use but I try to stick with the traditional, red, greens and whites but sometimes I feel like throwing in some blue and silver.

Are colours really so important? When it is a year of the Red Rooster, does everybody have to wear red or orange? What if I am fond of blue?..
