Anyone decoupage on glass?

I haven't tried other glass crafts yet but some look like they'd be fun to try. I do decoupage on various glass jars to package both bath and body products and food items. Since the decoupage is on the outside of the jar, it doesn't affect what goes inside. Then when the food item or bath item is used up, the recipient is left with a pretty jar to reuse or refill.

Hi I quite fancied trying decoupage on votives/tea lights with mulberry paper but im unsure of what glue to use safely have you any ideas? thanks so much!

Will anything stick paper to glass on any kind of permanent basis? I'd have thought that it'd have just peeled off...

Oooh now I remember seeing something called die-cals, is that the right name? and it's a type of paper that you print whatever design you want on, then you put it into a bowl of water then slide the backing off and it sticks to candles, glass, whatever. Similar to the transfers that you can put on tiles...hope this helps as I can't think of what could stick onto candles either. :)

I reckon you're thinking of decals or waterslide transfers. They'll stick to almost anything smooth. But they will scrape off again...

Try using dead flies to stick them on they stick to my visor and headlight like they been welded on.
Seriously if you are sticking all the way round I would have thought pva would do the job once its all round it will be sticking to itself with the glass being the former stuck in the middle

You can successfully seal paper onto glass with PVA glue, obtained for DIY stores.

Put a thin layer on the glass item, then stick your mulberry tissue paper, or paper napkin etc to it.

Let it dry, and then apply another layer of glue to make it waterproof.
