My friend has just started a blog on his film reviews..

I'm not that mad about films but if you are i'm sure he'd love any feedback here or on this blog..

Wow, well he's certainly got an attention grabbing homepage at the moment!

Nice that he has done an honest, thoughtful review rather than just waffling out all the usual set rubbish that so many do.

Very informative website.
I will show my OH later as he is a real film buff, before he moved in with me 5 yrs ago I had a total of 3 films on vhs and 1 dvd...now we have over 800 videos and over 300 dvds !! ( most from car boots )
But unless its a film I love I tend to adopt the "I'm watching it with my eyes shut " mode, my OH tells everybody I only ever watch the first 5 and last 5 mins of any film..which isn't true sometimes I don't bother with the last 5,lol

Ah right!

I'll keep looking to see if Kinky Boots, Elvis and Fan ny (possible rude word you see!) Rocky Horror Show and The Money Pit (with Tom Hanks) appear and then I'll be able to comment!

Yeah, my film taste is wonky!:D

yay love it!
my degree was in model making and special affects for film and tv so i've spent the last 3 years watching films nonstop with a brilliant excuse :mf:

Hehe that sounds like me, I fell asleep literally 5 minutes into Lock, Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels (so not my kind of film) when hubby rented that years ago and I only lasted 10 minutes of The Matrix before confusion and tiredness kicked it (and that was with the added lure of Keanu).

I'll pass that website onto my hubby's friend - he's a real film buff and has a season ticket for our local cinema.

"I'm making a man, with blond hair and a tan, and he's good for relieving my........tension"

Adore Rocky Horror Show on film, bit embarrassed that my neices knew all the words to all the songs when they were a bit too young to know them - but that was their mums fault, not mine!

Loved it when Tom Hanks fell through the hole in the floor in Money Pit and got stuck in the rug for hours, brilliant!

New films are a bit lost on me though, I'm with wonky! :mf:
