(welcome) Diana and croeso from Wales! Happy 69th Birthday! I can knit but would say I'm a very basic knitter:). What sort of things do you knit? I used to generally make toys. I prefer to crochet as it seems to grow faster!

I used to love knitting when I was pregnant, I found it very relaxing ( knitted crossover vests were my favourites ),I've not picked up any needles for years but one day I will .
