My son's baskets

My son (age 14) had a lesson from his mum and then made these baskets, he's entered them in the local show tomorrow:

What a clever young man - you must be very proud of him.

have you tried "varnishing" them to make them a bit more durable? Love the newspaper one - bet it would make a great desk tidy.
