Hi,
Im faily new to the forum and I am trying to find craft fairs around the South Yorkshire area or roundabouts, I make things mainly from Salt Dough and is very unique and want to trade regular but dont know where to start
please help

Hi there and welcome to the forum.

Good look with your search - you'll need it! There seems to be very few craft fairs in South Yorkshire and if there are any, you rarely get to hear about them. I live in Barnsley and even the ones usually held in the local schools haven't happened this year. If you're prepared to travel a bit then you can usually find some in Leeds area, Wakefield area and if you're prepared to travel a lot you'll find loads on a regular basis in North Yorkshire.

I've tried several times to get into the ones held at Elsecar Heritage Centre (usually its well publicised) but, without wanting to offend anyone, they do appear to be a bit "cliquey" and when I attended as a customer I was amazed to find that only 2 of the 6 jewellery stalls were actually selling genuine hand-made goods!
