Heart Buttons

Can anyone help me find some large heart shaped button, I use quite a lot on my cushions & my stash has just ran out. The ones I have been using are the mother of pearl type. Ta.

Not sure how big you want but I typed 'mother of pearl heart buttons' into ebay and got quite a few results.

Thanks,I've had a couple of orders in the past year from EBay but they were quite thin both times, I'm hoping someone here might have come across some more chunky ones similar to what I have been using.

Why not ask a local haberdasher to source some for you. If you're buying a lot then you should get a good price.

Oh, wow they are fab, thanks for the link. I'm in button heaven! Strangely I have had some of those designs for a few years for my upholstery projects but couldn't remember where I had bought them. We are limited on our island for anything crafty, our local haberdashers have announced they are closing down at the end of the year.

Have you tried Incy Wincy? She's started selling ceramic buttons that are heart shaped...:D

The buttons from Stockwell ceramics are gorgeous, I use heart shaped buttons in alot of my projects but they are small ones, I bought them from Bespoke Country in Scarborough http://www.bespokecountry.co.uk/
If you are ever in Scarborough I recommend taking a look, I save up my pennies and when we take a trip to the seaside I treat myself :D.

Yes it is!!!!!!!!! However it only seems a moment since I hit 500 and now I am over 600. I think it is a symptom of this forum that there are a lot of chatters and that's what makes it such fun.
