Hi all, I'm new to this and just wondered if anyone knew of any craft fairs/events in Leicestershire or how I could find any.
Thank you in advance

Hi Littleduck and welcome to the forum. Another one from Leicestershire - is there a craft balloon hanging over the county at present. What part of Leicestershire are you in and what craft do you do? Makes a difference as some fairs may not have room left for certain crafts. www.leicestershirecraftfairs.co.uk (http://www.leicestershirecraftfairs.co.uk) and UK Craft Fair Information Service should be able to help. Can't get the link to the latter one without losing this message - but send Fair-Do a private message on here and he will help you - he is ukcfis.

Let us know some more info and perhaps we can help.

I know of 2 November events in Leicestershire both on the weekend of November 1st and 2nd. November 1st there is one at Countesthorpe College the other on Sunday 2nd at Walkers Stadium.
Hope that helps

c'mon leicester c'mon leicester ...

Seems all the new peeps are from Leicester these days!! Funny but when I joined earlier in the year we were a bit thin on the ground. Someone that joined here even tried to get some fairs set up in Leicester but couldn't get many stallholders:confused: - suddenly there is no shortage of us!!!!

Depending what you are making I may be able to help with some craft fair details although i'm off on hols in next couple of days so I am a little pushed for time.

(welcome) anyway, may be able to help when I get back.

Claire x :jippie:

Yes - come on littleduck - come back and tell us what you make so that we can see if we can help. I still want to know what is in the air in Leicestershire at present that is bringing so many new members in this direction.

I've just found out there is going to be one in my village in November!!! I'll see what else I can find out and let you all know :D
It's south leicestershire, between Market harborough and Oadby/Wigston.

I go through Market Harborough and on through the Langtons to Bilesdon every week, thats not a million miles from where you both are is it? I must look on a map when I find one.

Hi
It might be too short notice for you, but we are running a craft fair as part of our annual village fete (2,000 visitors last year). Depends on what your craft is - I'm afraid we're already full for card makers and jewellers, but have a few pitches available for other crafts.
Pitches 10' by 10' are £15 ... our postcode is LE14 4EJ if you want to locate us on multimap.

I am organising the craft fair at Walkers Stadium Leicester on Sunday November 2nd. This is almost full but I have spaces for a few unusual crafts. All work must be hand made by the exhibitor and of a very good quality. I cannot take anymore jewellery, cards or photography. I can be found via google search under Pennine Fairs if anyone wants more information.
Thanks Penninelady
