Hello all,
Im a new member and just joined up a minute ago. I've got some questions about kemtex dyes for those who have used them.
I am planning on embarking a project to design and make my own personal camouflage garment...I probarbly sound barking, but I don't feel as though today's available patterns on the market support the English terrain.
Kemtex dyes were reccommended to me on another forum, but I was unable to get any specific information on them. I also contacted kemtex directly, but they didn't even have the decency to reply.
Anyway, I plan on applying the dye with paintbrush and/or stencil. The material I am using is cotton. The dye applied must be as permanent as possible.
Questions:
- What kind of kemtex dye would I need...for my particular needs?
- Can this dye be applied by paintbrush?
- Can this dye be mixed with other dyes to achieve the colour I desire?
- Is there anything else I could possibly need? Dye fixative, etc.
