Hi Everyone!
The Truly Handmade Craft fair is on Saturday! :jump:
I cannot believe how quickly it has come round! I would love you all to come and join me and the fantastic crafters for a great day. St James Church Hall, Mere Green, B75 5BW - 10am-3pm
There will be a massive prize draw with loads of prizes to give away, refreshments being served all day, free parking, free admission...and it's in Mere Green, which has a wonderful selection of pubs, bars and the beautiful Sutton Coldfield Park near by if you fancy making an afternoon of it!
Hope to see you there, come and say Hi if you do manage to pop along! I think we should develop a forum code - so we can instantly recognise each other - is a carnation too passe?! Ha ha!!
Hope to see you there
Caroline xx

Nice work Incy!
Can I just say I am so excited about Saturday! :mf:
I have also done more walking than is healthy over the last few weeks (flyering) so hopefully we will see lots of lovely customers coming to spend their money! Can we have a show of vitual hands for people who think they can come and see us on Saturday? In the absence of hands I can I suggest using these?
:jump:
Hee hee!

Hiya,
I must admit I am excited too... I am also finishing of my last few bits. I have made some new ranges of cards to join my existing stock and will be launching my new love birds wedding range, not too mention the hand finished bags and canvases. I am hoping to have the tea-towels finished too.
Really looking forward to seeing you, don't walk too much more as there will be nothing left of you!!!

Well, what a lovely day! The venue was lovely and we had a constant flow of people coming through. I really enjoyed it and did very well on sales :)
Plus it was lovely to meet some CF members. :p
Thanks for organising it Caroline - I will keep an eye out for details of your next fair/s.

Ta da!!! Remember me?! I know it's been a while since I've visited the forum. Been a bit busy crafting dontcha know (lol), ready for Truly Handmade.
It was fab! I didn't sell loads but more than covered costs which, for my very first fair, isn't too bad I don't think.
Thanks Caroline, for organising a great fair. Will send feedback by email/pm.
'Twas fab to meet Sam (incy) and her beautiful little Em in person at long last. Think Caroline was right - we forum members should have had carnations or something to mark us out to each other.
Can't wait for the next one.:D

Just a thank you to Caroline for organising Saturday's fair. This fair was very well organised, well pitched at the local clientele, with good cake on sale at cheap prices. A bonus was that I made a nice profit for the first time ever! So thank you very much!

I must admit the staff there were great and yes that cake was fab!! And very cheap - infact cheap enough to go back for seconds :p
Ethel - it was lovely to meet you too. And Emma wispered me a little secret about sillies before bed tonight!! I'm guessing I'm going to have a very silly birthday this year!! :sm: (She's not very good at keeping secrets!)
I was sat next to the lovely Primmers and her daughter and they made me giggle lots. :)
- I've said it already, but it was a great day. And there were some fab crafters ;)
oh and (welcome) to the forum rachybaby1 ;)

oooh, thank you for all your lovely comments! Glad you had a good time, you are all so talented and really deserve to do well with your crafts. I was so impressed with the quality of work. Looking forward to seeing you all at the next one! Plus I didn't manage to try the cake so I'm def gonna have to do another one if only for that reason!!! :sm:

I know this fair was during the summer but just wanted to post to say glad it went so well and sorry for not taking part - had to put crafting on hold for a while but now I'm back! Any future fairs planned LittleGems?
