Really pretty, did you make the ring around the tree and if so what gauge wire did you use.

(BTW I luurve amethyst)

SNOW - i did it with the help of a tutorial from MuranoSilver :D On the inspired by nature thread. It took me about an hour and a bit. Not too long.

craftyclaire - yeah i made the ring of wire. I used my rolling pin as a template. It was bigger than the tutorial suggested but i wanted it bigger. The wire is very thick and i got it from eBay where is was advertised as tiara wire. I really cant remember the gauge of it though. The bag it came in has been used for something else and is awol!

One thing though is that the join of the thick wire is hidden by all the joins of the roots of the tree. Its fine as long as you dont manhandle it too much but i would worry it came apart!
