Adapting christening dress worry

I made a christening dress for my friends daughter who is now 7.My firend just had another ickle girl and I have been asked to adapt the dress to fit the new sproglet.
I just wanted to post my worries as I was taking the sleeves off last night and it all came flooding back to me,how fiddly it was working on such a small scale!!!
