"Eyes Woman, Eyes!"

Many years ago, back when Britain used to have a summer, I had a bad bout of hayfever.

My eyes were really red and itchy, so I asked Mr Jelly to pop to the chemist to see if he could get me a remedy of some sort.

At the counter, a lady of older years served him.

Mr Jelly : "Can I have something for itchy eyes please?"

She looked at him a bit non-plussed.
.
Chemist woman : "Do you mean something like this?"
