First Bangle

Today I'm doing the final preparations for a local Village Fete tomorrow. I have been warned that there will be quite a few other jewellery stands, so I'm not expecting to do brilliantly. But the stand for the day isn't that expensive so even if I don't sell that much, I should not make a loss. The way I look at it is that it's good exposure as it's local, and I'm getting the Babushka Jewellery Design name out there.

I have finally made my first bangle, using Sterling Silver wire, Bali & Sterling Silver beads, Amethyst & Rainbow Flourite chips. It is far from perfect, but I'm really pleased with how it turned out and will be keeping this one for myself. I loved making this bangle so will be making lots more of them in the near future and will list them on my website.

Isn't the weather glorious today? However, seems there will be heavy showers tomorrow... luckily my stand will be in a marquee, but I do hope the weather holds out as this fete is renowed for being great fun for all the family.

We'll have to wait and see...

Oh silly me. I posted that last week in the 'your crafts' board with a link to my blog but it now comes through automatically when I update my blog so it came up twice.
