I can't post a link yet but it is on my blog. I made this bag from recycled materials - the dusky pink jacquard was given to me by a friend, as was the lining and scarf fabric (from another friend!). I did invest in some new handles though. This bag is my first "giveaway" so I hope it is popular! If you would like it then please just leave me a comment on my blog and I'll enter you into the draw (closing date Mon 14th July).

Hi Miaou,

I was just browsing and stubled over this thread. The bag is fantastic! I saw you live in north of Scotland - so do I. Crafty? Yes! And it's my birthday tomorrow...

Have a great day on the 8th!

Hi Julia! I had a look at your dolls - wow they are fab! I am in Caithness - how about you? (and happy birthday for tomorrow for you too - though I fear I have many years on you :D)

Hi,
I live down in Fort Augustus but only for the last five years - I'm Swedish. Married a scotsman and moved to the beautiful Highlands, loving it. Caithness - it's wild up there!
Glad you like my dolls, I have so much fun making them - planning an evening in infront of the sewing machine. ;)

Sue you are very kind, but I must just point out that I didn't make the button necklace, just used the shot for my "rainbow-theme" post! I've now credited the maker on screen (it was just on mouseover before) to make it clear, as I would hate anyone to think I was taking credit for their work.

But thank you very much for the compliments about my other stuff - very gladly received!

Wow that bag is totally awesome! (i have a bit of a bag & Bead fetish shhhh) and that combines my 2 biggest loves! hehe

Your rabbit is so adoreable too, me thinks im going to be digging out some of the kids old tops lol. If my dd's saw those they would be nagging me to make them a bunny too, especially since they saw the film the last mimzy.

Keep up the great work, and dont forget to show us more!!!
