Hope someone can help, I dont usually use fimo but somebody has asked me to make them a new baby girl card and I was all out of ideas and then found a fimo mould with baby feet in. When I used it when I first bought it a few months ago I managed a couple of great baby feet but then they started to stick into the mould and I gave up, well they are doing the same today! Im not sure what I am doing wrong.... its one of those flexible push mould things. Oh and what I am using is called Sculpey but I suppose its the same as fimo
argh having one of those days!

Buy some badger balm - use a paintbrush to lightly coat the inside of your mould. It helps stop the Fimo from sticking (works with PMC clay too!)

Don't know about badger balm - what is it?
I have read that you can dust the moulds with cornflour. I haven't tried it as I don't use moulds but my daughter has. You can bake the clay with the cornflour on it and then wash it off when it is cooked.

Badger Balm is a hand barrier cream.
(A bit like Vaseline but it doesn't leave residue)
I'm guessing the other properties were found out in a happy accident ;)
If you google BadgerBalm you'll find it..Alternatively Petra Lyons stocks it at "silverclay" (under tools). If you do look at the tools section, don't say I didn't warn you (ooh the strawberry mould & the ladybug ~ Ahhhh)!!!
