Making cards to sell, from ideas in magazines

Not sure if this is the right place:confused:

But never really fully understood copyright rules. If I make a card from ideas in the craft magazines, then go on to sell it, what are the implications if any.

I also go on the docrafts website, which has instructions on making cards from the docrafts designers. What are the rules on this?

Not that I have sold any, for some unknown reason. Haven't done a fair or anything like that, just the internet :(
