Aw Emma!

I bawled the first time - then replayed it and bawled again! - then tex my man telling him I've gotta show him a gorgeous lion clip when he's next here - and I'll definitely bawl again when I watch his reaction to it, he'll love it

I specially like the bit where he wrapped his paw round one of the guys legs, bless his heart

...and I've just opened my patio door cos my ginger cat wanted to come in!....rrrrroooooaaarrrrr mmmmiiiaaaaoooowwwwww :)

Thanks for showing us this

I have to say that I am so used to people sending me weird video clips that I thought it was going to be some kind of spoof where the big cat turns round and swipes somebody's head off. Yeah ok I'm really kind of sick I know. Anyhow it was a really touching video, very heart-warming.:mf:

I actually went on to youtube to find the clip to put on my blog.

If you type in "Christian The Lion" the full story is explained in about 7 x 3 minute video clips.

The 2 guys were British and moved heaven and earth to find him somewhere to live in Africa.

The whole story is very moving and uplifting.

Eeeeh, I'm filling up again now.

I'm glad it bought some joy to you

Bless him

I thought it might be a spoof as well - but when I'd watched it all I was quietly blubbering too:p

Nope, I'm afraid I didn't.

I'm a Leo, remember... I know that the lion was sneakily marinading him for later. If you look carefully, you can see a bottle of soy sauce in one paw and some herbs in the other.

Except Pinky McPinkerton apparantley!

I sobbed like a baby. People have been piling sandbags up around me to prevent unnecessary flooding.

Oooh I'm off to find the full story, thanks JB!

(and I wonder why I thought they would be American? Funny how your mind makes assumptions)

...I may have to ask Mr McPinkerton if I could borrow his sandbags when I see the full tale/tail
