Been having trouble uploading so i hope it works. I am doing my first craft fair on Saturday and am a bit nervous so any feedback would be brilliant.

The rugs take between 24 and 34 hours to make depending on how many clips of material are involved. A couple of the rugs have 6000 pieces in them and they each have to be cut to size which can take a while.http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn158/Jesushadsmellyfeet/camerapics031-1-1.jpghttp://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn158/Jesushadsmellyfeet/camerapics029-1.jpghttp://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn158/Jesushadsmellyfeet/camerapics026-1.jpghttp://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn158/Jesushadsmellyfeet/camerapics028-1.jpghttp://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn158/Jesushadsmellyfeet/camerapics022-1.jpghttp://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn158/Jesushadsmellyfeet/camerapics026-1.jpghttp://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn158/Jesushadsmellyfeet/camerapics028-1.jpghttp://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn158/Jesushadsmellyfeet/camerapics020-1-2.jpghttp://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn158/Jesushadsmellyfeet/camerapics026.jpg

Help!!! That takes me back a few years (I'm old you see). We used to peg rugbs like that cos we could'nt buy them - even if we could afford them.
These are beautiful - ours never looked like this.

Lovely & original ! My mum would love these too, she used to make thes when she was a little girl. Something nostalgic about them - great for kids rooms as lots of texture in them.

Some fab rugs there Woody. Very funky and retro. Do you prepare all the "ingredients" yourself.

Reminds me of when we were kids and my sister use to buy kits from Redicut in Wakefield, they were great for beginners. They also do cross stitch and tapestry kits too. Think they're still going.

Hi, yes i prepare everything myself from the pieces of material (between 5 and 6000) to the finishing touches but after 25 - 30 hours it feels great when they are done.

amazing rugs... I can't imagine working that long on something, but they look worth it becuse they are really beautiful! my mother used to have a couple when I was little, a burgandy one and a blue-ish one, but nothing as nice as yours. :)

Ooooh these are fabulous! I was thinking about making one for our front room but have no idea where to start. I'll have to look it up!
