Woohoo I've just been interviewed!

Well I wasn't prepared for that! I've just had a reporter and photographer from the East Anglian Daily Times (forum members in Suffolk and Essex will know it) in taking pictures and interviewing me about my new shop. They do a feature every week about new shops opening in the area and picked me :mf:

Wish I'd had a bit of warning though so I could've taken more effort with my hair and clothes this morning :rolleyes: but it's fabulous publicity and even better it didn't cost me a thing. Should be in the paper tomorrow, my parents buy it every day but I'm not going to tell them about it so they get a big shock when they open it in the morning and see me smiling awkwardly at them :)

Well done, it will be great publicity. I sure you looked fine for your interview. It was lovely to visit your shop and meet you on wednesday. Shelley made a necklace with her beads and the letters were perfect for our fathers day pressie idea. You should contact the Haverhill Weekly news as they do a 'buy local' feature every week. I'm sure they've done some Clare businesses before.

Well I've had a few people in this week who only heard about us through the newspaper article which is fabby news. Hoping to try and get some editorial in some other local papers but I hate pushing myself forward...so much easier when they approach me but I guess I was very lucky in that particular situation.

Might scan and add the article here if I can brace myself to actually look at it (I'm such a wimp that I haven't properly seen it yet) but my dad has photocopied it a number of times and I think my Nan is giving copies to every family member and neighbour she speaks to from what she told me today - I think she's more than a little bit proud bless.
