Finally finished my latest fabric applique canvas & boy was it a pain to do.
I am glad it's finished, not entirely happy with it but there you go.

Just out of interest how much do you think I should charge fop these? They are 12" x 18" so pretty substantial. I've been doing some research and my prices seem low compared to other designers doing similar. Such a dilemma as they are very time intensive.
On a much simpler note ...
I have also been making some custom padded door hangings for new baby gifts. Here is the latest one of those.

they are lovely you should price in the ammount of time it takes to make something you could put your prices up and if your sales fall drop them slighty but im sure they are definately worth every penny you charge the are individual handcrafted keepsakes

Fantastic really love your things.
I have put my prices up slightly not to much I hadn't had a price rise since I started and realised manufacturers/ suppliers had been putting prices up .
You need to charge what you think is a fair price . I am sure your beautiful things will sell to the right market.
All the best

I think that is great, and better so becuse I was watching the Sci-Fi channels Jack and the beanstalk movie on sunday! is there a geek smily?
I love the spotty fabric and the leaves... very well done!
I think Fairy Tales would be a great crafting challenge too... must work on that.. I have been mulling over an idea for a "Little Red Riding hood" painting for awhile now.. :D

Go for it! Nursery rhymes are great for inspiration... my "Hey Diddle Diddle" plate sold to a Forum member after I posted pics on here!

I think they are all wonderful,
As far as pricing is concerned dont forget to factor in the cost of the material, thread and electric if you use a sewing machine and of course an hourly amount for your time and dont under pay yourself, you dont want to work for less than the minimum wage.
hope this helps
