Advise needed

I've got some ginger beer bottles which I think will look really cool as oil lamps/candles, but I haven't a clue how to make them. Would love some advise on how to do it and what to use.

Dont think they would be any good for candles as the neck is to narrow and also the glass might not be thick enough to take the heat. What about making candle sticks or electric lamp stands
