Cute presents for new babies

A friend of mine has recently had twins so I thought I would practice my crochet skills a bit (patterns from '201 Crochet Motifs'):

I was planning to do the whole alphabet for my own twins, but I don't know if I can tackle some of those tough letters like 'B'!

There great ;) So very cute!
But just from experience of mixing fabric with wool/crochet, did you wash the letters & bodysuits before adding the letters?? As the wool may shrink slightly and distort the bodysuit.

It's cotton rather than wool & I washed them too - so should be ok ! By the time I had unravelled them a couple of times they needed a wash... :rolleyes:
