can anyone help me with information about payeing tax .
iam working just now in full time employment , and would like to do craftfairs but been told need to paye tax on it . or do i need to go selfemployed .

Hi,
You're supposed to register as self-employed but there are lots of tax benefits associated with working from home - you can claim back for lots of stuff like utility bills etc.

really? there are benefits? i work at home too but i haven't filed for one yet. maybe i'll do that one of these days.

If you sell anything then you must pay tax simple as that.. Its the law... Its easy to register and nothing much to worry about... Unless you make big £ then chances are you tax will be very low... Of course you can put anything to do with your craft against tax e.g. cost of the craft fair, your materials, fuel etc...

Almost - you MUST register as self-employed, unless you like HMRC demanding money from you :)
