Im trying to think of packaging to go through the post for items i may make.
They are made of rectangular bits of wood so it needs to be padded but bubble wrap isnt very glam.

Any ideas?

I am not sure what it is called but I have received parcels with a sheet of compact flat foam. It would look better than bubble wrap.

I always think that items wrapped in pretty coloured tissue paper always look good glamorous and it would help to protect your products

I agree with klutzygem, I wrap my stuff in tissue paper, and depending on the amount someone has bought/spent, will also use fine shoestring ribbon to tie it up with , parcel style, before then wrapping with bubble wrap. The ribbon can be really cheap and does make a difference to the overall look of your product. Small hand crafted gift labels really set it off too. Yes the bubble wrap looks nasty, but you could also use a thick piece of card as a "no bend" protective inside a padded jiffy envelope. Make use of your kids(or someone elses!) if they are bored, and get them to help out making small gift labels ready to keep for when you need them!! Its amazing how many of us will lose the sellers details after delivery, those little gift-tags with an email addy on them are a life saver.

Hi www.aid-pack.co.uk have some packaging ideas, I use a lot of their flat pack boxes, the 5cd size box is a very handy size, the goods (dependant upon what they are) look lood in a crisp celephane bag tied with ribbon, the curling gift wrap type is great, then I tuck a paper rose or flower down the ribbon to finish off!

Hope this helps
