Hi everyone - another newbie :D

My name is Brit and I am more a dressmaker and corstier than a craft person but I guess fabric is a craft in itself hehe

I live on Wirral and specialise in corsets but also make gowns, dresses, tutus, wedding clothing and handbags :D

Shall post some pics up in the relevant section of my work :D

Nice to meet you all.

Thanks Trish :D

Can I ask also, is there a good place to advertise craft machines? I have a professional, automatic feed eyelet machine specifically for stationary and paper/card which I am hoping to sell - I bought it in error hoping I could have new dies made for it but sadly the hopper won't take the eyelets I wish to use :(

Thank you for the warm welcomes :D

I can't post up pics of my stuff as my files are too big to fit the attachments and I can't post links for photobucket as I don't have enough posts........ yet hehe :pc:

Again, many thanks for the lovely welcomes :D

I am so deep into my sewing that I find myself in a place I never thought I would be lol

I have had a good amount of positive feedback on my work from people who have been sewing for years!

Shall try again to post a thread with my work in and see if I can find a way around the sizing of attachments :D

Hiya

thats an area i really wanted to get into. I left my job as a design assistnt in denimwear to try my look at costume, i really wanted to get into the theatre but its so hard!!I gave up searching in the end and went into the bar industry. I hope you are happy in your work!

As for your attatchments, try a free down load- google it and theres plenty come up, i use a 'jpeg sizer' for mine, as all my images are huge mega bites! You will enjoy the forum- but it may stop you from your work! any advice you need just ask- everyones always happy to help!
