Better Late than Never!

I have finally set up an account on Flickr as that seems to be the one you are all using!

Better late than never, for so many reasons, finally, the pictures you have all been waiting for (well Si from Wood Tattoos has!)

Piccy's of the big day, note the lovely placename favours in situ on our table

Note also my very first attempt at a tiara, it was good enough to wear!

The link works fine and the photos look great, especially the close ups on the tiara - which looks great too!

I've not used Flickr before, well, not to place photos anyway, merely to find some for a course. Is it becoming a show case for the items in the photos themsleves, rather than the actual photos? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick completely!?

The diamond shaped beads are mother of pearl, the crystals are swarovski (naturally).

Lesley, thanks for posting those photos, it's so nice to see how the wedding favours fitted into the big day. I'm pleased with how nice they looked on the tables. I hope everyone liked their little memento of the day. Send my best wishes to the happy couple, I must drop Sheona an email some time. All of the items are absoluetly lovely.

I have a lot of crafty friends and many of them made things for my wedding as wedding gifts, it made the day even more special becasue so much thought had gone into it .
