Hiya
Don't know if anyone can help at all, but my sister manages an outwards bounds centre for underpriviledged children down in East Sussex.
She is keen to organise some form of craft making for the children and hopes to explore basket weaving & paper making. She has found a company that makes kits, but the cost is ridiculous. She is waiting to find out whether they are prepared to do a discount, but in the meantime I thought I would post here to see if anyone else can help and point me in the right direction for either kits, or tutors that might be able to go along and perhaps teach my sister in the first instance, so that she can then run the workdshops herself.
Obviously with such a high turnover of children, it would be impossible for her to organise workshops by an outside tutor on a regular basis, so is keen to learn these skills herself.
Unfortunately, even with my crafty connections, I don't actually know anyone that has the craft skills she's looking for, but am hoping that someone here might be able to help.
