Just thought it would be nice to share our next projects. What do you think?
I am currently working on a crochet bag made with recycled cotton yarn and I will try some dip dyeing when I finish the piece! I am quite excited to see the end result as it's the first time I do some dyeing.
If you have some tips for dip dyeing it would be much appreciated!

I'm trying to decide whether to do a picture of a highland cow for a freinds birthday next or dig around and see what other ideas I had come up with and haven't yet done. It took me a few years to actually do something with one of the masks I bought, so it'll be interesting what I find lurking!

At the mo I am trying to make a handbag/over the shoulder bag. I have made the bag part but cant decide what type of handles to put on it, either wooden ones or long shoulder straps. I keep looking at it and changing my mind. Decisions, decisions..... It is made from soft hessian with a nice stripy cotton inside and lipped over - it does look nice honestly!. Will post pics when I have decided!!!.

I have just received some new beads from China, I asked my supplier to send me 40 strands without specifying which stones as her english is very bad and she always sends me wrong stuff. I just said send me some unusual interesting natural stone beads. Some of them are so unusual I am not sure what they are. I like suprises and it will be a challenge as some are huge, but they are all very beautiful.

As I hope to be moving next month I am currently revamping an old sofa. I have tarted up the seat covers and am making some cushions and a couple of matching throws.
When I have done that I shall be continuing to make things to sell at a local school summer fete....alien keyrings, beaded creatures to put on the end of pencils, friendship bracelets......and much more!

I'm making a wedding card for my 5 year old's reception class as they're having a "wedding" with each class member dressing up and playing a part. My daughter's a guest and her friend is mother of the bride! I'm going to have a bride's dress, cake and flowers on the front and their names. I haven't got time to make a groom as it needs to be in tomorrow and I haven't got the right bits.

What a good idea for a thread! there is a lot of WIP's and good ones at that!
I'm still working on my sunset series at the moment, and quite enjoying the direction they're taking me in!
i've also started a painting that is very different to my usual stuff, pushing those boundaries, once i'm done and if it looks good(!!) i'll blog it! lol

i am in the process of designing a classic looking pen in hard rubber, ebonite.
i am also interested in exploring 'decorating' some pens, so any budding artists out there get in touch.

Everyone sounds so busy at the moment!
I have been experimenting with my shiny new glass paints!
I have painted some glasses, and at the moment I am making some stained glass cards by painting onto acetate and then sticking it inside different shaped apertures. I am really pleased with the ones I have done so far!

Now that I've finished my box for Steve's Box Project, I am going to concentrate on my "pocket money" items for the Summer Fete I have a stall at in July :p

hehehe I was just going to gloat about finishing Steve's box too. I think it took me longer to email the photos than to decorate the box!!!!:mf:
Today I have been making little felt and fabric boxes from a tutorial here (http://applehead.typepad.com/applehead/2006/05/hey_presto_a_li.html). They are really quite quick to do. It's the hand stitching of the felt part that takes the time so I may try machining with a decorative stitch. I could then make quite a few to stock pile for Truly Handmade.
Oh I also coffee-stained 8 Silly Girls but they stink SOOO bad so have put them in a carrier with a Bounce sheet til the smell wears off. It does after a day or two I hasten to add. My dolls don't stink! :D

Today I have been making new Fimo pendants. Large royal blue and black pendant beads. I will make one up as a necklace and put it on my website.:)
Tomorrow, I had planned to photograph the jewellery made this week for the site, but the ironing pile is getting higher, so we'll see.:nopity:

Im going to try to ignore the fact that I spent money on some sieve pendents Ive decided not to use, but use the original sives that I had already, but then again my ideas have gone wrong so I have to cut all the beads off the sieves and start again.
