I got a write up!!!

It's not massive but one of the girls at Crafts Beautiful magazine just emailed me to let me know they've put a bit on their website about my new shop opening :mf:

Hubby wants to print it out and put it in our shop window but I'm not sure...after all anyone looking in our shop window already can see we've opened.

I'd certainly show it off. It's all good publicity and show the GP that you are a respected outlet.

You will find people walking past that may not have come in will be drawn to read it and then probably come in anyway!!

if i see something like this in a shop window i stop and think they must be interesting for someone to write about them, i read it and then have to go in and have a nosey!!

Yep, I agree too, put it up in the window and promote it and you. It's a great achievement to get in a magazine in such a competitive market and potential buyers will see it as an endorsement and hopefully do some shopping!

Well seeing as it appears I'm in the minority I have taken your advice and it is now printed out and sitting in my shop window :) thank you all, think I need a boot up the bum sometimes.

Think it's only on their website as the issue Crafts Beautiful are now working on won't be out til the end of June and it'll be old news by then. But SusieQ if you buy the next issue (on sale 30th May I think) there's a card I made featured in their suppliment booklet :)
