Hi everyone,

just a quick note to let you know where I am up to with the boxes project you have been working on.

So far I have had 6 complted projects back from the 18 I sent out.
I know you are all very busy and I really appreciate the effort you are putting in. However I must crack on with the larger project. So here are some further details of how I am going to be using your completed projects...

Though my craftsapes website I have started a product launch which I call "box:12". It goes 'live' in a couple of weeks. I am going to be selling the full set of 12 unfinished boxes at a great offer price. This offer is only going to be available to my craftshapes subscribers and for just 5 days.

The 'launch' process involves sending out a run of emails and blog posts to my subscribers that will lead to the 12 boxes being on offer for the limited time period.

Your completed projects will form part of that email process. They will show off the fantastic kinds of projects that can be done with the boxes. At the same time your projects will be promoted and links to your websites provided. The idea is that I will generate interest in the unfinished boxes and you get interest in your websites. That's why a little biog info from you is helpful. I can include it with your box project.

Now, I have sent out the first email to my subscibers, those of you who already subscribe will have received it. If you want to sign up and see the emails and how I will be using your box projects just pop over to my craftshapes website and subscribe. (NB. I only mention this so you can see how this all progresses - not to try and get more subscribers!).

If you haven't competed your box yet, please do send it through as soon as you can so I can inlcude it in the emails that I send out.

So that's where we are upto so far. My new blog is set up too, which is where all the projects will be shown off.

Of course I will also post them all here for everyone to see.

I hope that makes sense.

I will feedback here and let you all know how it is progressing. I have no idea if this will all work but it is exciting giving it a try!!

Steve :):):)

Oh, excellent! I'm already a subscriber, and I was going to order some of those mini round boxes, so I reckon I'll wait & make a bulk-buy out of it! Cool...

The site mentions a voucher code for subscribers, but I don't remember getting one of those - is it in an email somewhere?

Ok, OK, Ok, I know I'm useless and holding up proceedings but my box is almost finised... only problem being that at the moment I'm unable to completely finish it!! Hubby and I decided to decorate the kitchen on Tuesday and I managed to fall off the step ladder and fracture my wrist which is making crafting virtually impossible :( But rest assured, as soon as I can possible get on with my box I'll be doing so and getting the finished results sent off. Apologies to everyone.
