I want to try a new project and am looking for some square box frames. You know the sort, they usually have a dried flower or something in them.

I'm looking for a supplier who sells them as cheap as chips (!!!) pereferably with wooden frames.

A shop called The Range sells them. They have wood frames and were in different sizes. They started from about 99p as far as I can remember. They do mail order I think but just thought it might be worth a look if there is a shop near you. :).

How many are you looking for and would you need a constant supply? My local scrap store has some that might fit the bill you see but I honestly don't know how many they have or whether they will be getting any more when these have gone. Also do you need glass in the front? I'm currently making a birthday present using one so I might be able to show you a photograph soon if that helps at all!

I picked some up recently at Wilkinson's for a few quid. Medium sized ones...they might have them on their website too.

I got mine from Ikea, but I think they only do small ones and that was a little while ago.

I was gonna say ikea too but if not try your local nik-nak shops you'll be amazed as a crafter at all of the 'crafty' items you can find(and end up spending a fortune)

Swirly ... next time you're in, if they're still there I'll have them please.
I will of course pay postage costs ... unless do you think they'll be quite heavy to post?

I shall also check out Wilkinson's next time I'm in town.

If any of you find some on your "travels" please remember me!

Thanks

I will have a look on my travels for you.

Haven't seen them around, except the expensive finished ones in M&S and that kind of thing...

I get mine from Wilkinsons. 6"x6" is only £3; 3"x3" is £1.50 - and without the dried flower arrangement that usually needs removing! I've got very good at looking out for bargain ones as they are so useful for my quilling. It's shocking the price of them in craft shops!
