Hi all
Just joined this forum with a specific question, but will ask it when I've had a browse and found out where best to put it.

I used to belong to a few different craft forums but these days don't have that much spare time to keep up.

Briefly though I love crafting when I have time, mostly papercrafts, but do enjoy a lot of others, or have in the past.

I have been cardmaking from about 6 years old, but more seriously for about the last 11 years or so. I do sometimes need new ideas or inspiration and that is usually the hardest part. I love to make my own embellishments and create a card or item from scratch, so try not to spend too much money on lots of bits I won't use or don't really need... not that easy I know.

I am self employed with my partner and we have a media design business, although most of the design part is done by him, I do a little, I'm more hands on creative, he's best at computer arts.

I have 3 children aged 11, 6 and 2, so not a lot of spare time as you can see.

I will try to visit this forum as much as I can, so hope to meet some fellow crafters soon.

Yvonne

ah ok sorry, must be another one..... there are a lot of crafty forums about these days, which is good, but difficult to keep up with, best to keep to one or two I think.

Internet is a minefield, which has good and bad points, but great for information.

Hi and welcome to the forum (welcome)

In my previous life, I used to sell craft work at the Washington Arts Centre. I know the area well :)
