Anyone on ravelry? I got accepted (!) in March but have only just got round to having a proper look.

It's mad! But i'm loving it :D

I've heard lots about ravelry, mostly good but some bad. Is it really worth applying for? I don't know if I have the time to join another community. :o

Definitely worth applying for if you're into knitting or crochet - there is so much information on there.
It has loads of groups (a bit like flickr), so you can search for the ones you want to join - then the groups have little forums attached.

It's not something I will use all the time, but it will be great for patterns and inspiration. :p

You will love it ;) Cute

Thanks for the link incy - I've signed up on the waiting list (they're full at the moment, don't know how long it takes for an invite to come through)

oh I love Ravelry. I spend loads of time on there (some of it productive ;))!

I love the way you can "favourite" things - patterns, projects, yarns, designers - previously I was printing out every pattern I liked and had a groaning file, which I rarely flicked through - this way it's all at my fingertips!

I'm on there as Miaou - do feel free to seek me out there! I'm trying to get my mum to join but she's a bit of an "instant gratification" type and can't bear the thought of waiting in a queue:mf:
