I have been watching a documentary series called 'Blood, sweat and tee-shirts'...anyone else see it? (In UK) ...a group of young people very into fashion travelled to India to experience how alot of clothing is produced...its been a real eye opener and to know that alot of the clothes produced in these places are headed for UK-USA etc...I had never given it much thought before but I found myself checking my clothing labels tonight!!! Here is a clip from You Tube and there are more on there too, its well worth a quick look and some thought...

this is how some shops and markets are able to sell cheap clothes there should be labels or signs to say how and where things are made like fair trade foods there should be laws on importing things that are produced in this way i know in some cases if the children didnt work there families would starve but there must be a happy medium where child labour and close on slavery is abolished if everyone stopped buying from these places there would be no demand but then what would happen to the 3rd world countries that rely on export

I didn't watch the programme because i knew I'd get upset( get very teary these days...hormones!!). I do think that it is a subject we should all be very aware of though. I have no answers but discussion is important.

I watched the first three episodes, but missed the last one! Does anyone know when it is repeated?

I agree and that came across quite strongly in last nights episode.
