Right, this woman I work with has asked me if I will make her a candle for her parents' ruby wedding anniversary, i asked her what kind and she said ''well, red. and with 40 on. oh and could you do anything with wedding rings?'' like fake ones im assuming. but has anyone got any ideas? my brain is hurting? hmmmmm! she said do something a bit different to just a pillar candle but i dont really want to do something really wacky cos i doubt they'll be right into it! anyways if anyones got remotely any ideas that can help it would be awesome. thanks!

ok, so in my head what i'm going to attempt to describe look sreally good...lmao! so here goes,
SO on the ring theme, is it posible to have to rings intertwined to make a candle, somehow, maybe in a flat base or something with the rings molded on top of the base and intertwined with the wick at the top...does that make sense lol!

could you attach some gold wedding ring that they use on wedding cakes and use hot wax to fix them on gold foil to do the 40 i know you can stick peeloffs on candles as long as the candle is for decorative purpose only

you could do something like this on the website, some one else has and it looks great, this is just a link for the instructions and stuff, i do make candles, but not got around to doing it. you could do something like 40th anniversary printed on it :)

wow i looked at that site, thats a well good idea! thanks
i think i may use that! do you think it would work on a red candle? it would be quite a dark red cos its ruby anniversary.
