I've read so many ways of stiffening a knitted bowl I really can't decide what's the best. One way I found mentioned, but no instructions for, was using wallpaper paste. I've also found varying recipes for sugar/water solution.
It might have been easier if I'd felted it, but I didn't think about that until the end, doh!
If anyone has any experiences of stiffening, I'd be grateful for any insights :)

sadly no, it is mainly acrylic I'm using, I'm now seriously thinking about starting again with wool and felting!

How about laundry spray starch?

I'm a bit worried about how long it would last!
serves me right for not thinking the project through before I started, but I get a design in my head and have to start knitting straight away!
